Aiguestortes is the catalan for wild waters. It´s a Pyrenees National Park and the only in Catalunya, Spain. The word comes from the water ponds - estanys - that remain for what was once a glacier, more than a thousand ponds and lakes are in the park area. This is a typical high mountain photo, and flower, taken during the seven day crossing (on foot) of that immense mountain territory of northern Spain.

Gosto do efeito do fundo, dá ainda mais realce à flor.

Beautiful - the way the flower stands out from the background is excellent.

My gosh you take amazing pictures! What's that in the background? purple vines?

@chiquitafilipina: The balance of whites was set to flash light, instead of cloudy, then no flash was used, and the grass (yes!) at that altitude got that purple look. There is no post processing on the photo, besides sizing.
Fantastic!
